Intrepid CHS staff climb to raise

On Saturday May 6th 2017, starting at 6am at the foot of Mount Snowden twenty five intrepid staff from Cardiff High School will attempt to scale the 3 tallest peaks in Wales within a 24 hour period.  Starting at Snowden before moving onto Cadair Idris and finally finishing at Pen-Y-Fan.  This is a very physical challenge which includes 21 miles of walking, 300 miles of driving and 3 acents totalling 2900 metres.  The team of teachers are undertaking this challenge to raise funds for camping equipment for pupils taking their Duke of Edinburgh Award and for MacMillan Cancer Support in memory of our colleague Mr John Marusza who sadly passed away last year.
