Well done Year 11 Maths Students! After lots of work and many extra sessions put on by the Maths Department (including last Saturday) Year 11 sat their Maths paper last week – Good luck for the results but now it is time to think about the mocks!
It was very pleasing to note the very respectful approach by all students to the minutes silence on Tuesday 11 November. The significance of the day was acknowledged in assemblies, registration and lessons.
I wrote to all parents last week regarding the new build project. Finally, we are getting the keys in the next few weeks. We have had to take the decision to close on Monday 9 December to finalise all the moving needed to get the new build up and running. I am very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. In spite of everyone’s best efforts and by working the weekends and late evenings, we need a day where everything can be moved into place safely.
Our students are working hard to raise money this week for Children In Need and as a school, we are supporting a non-uniform day this Friday, 15 November 2013. To take part, pupils need to donate £1 to the charity.
