There is a great spirit in school at the moment. At the business end of the year and with pupils feeling the pressure of examinations, students and staff are responding to the pressure and working extremely hard together to prepare for the different papers. Turn out at all revision sessions has been extremely high and staff have been extremely committed in giving up so much time to support pupil revision and ensure pupil wellbeing during the process.
This week the school is bringing back the international honours boards and prefects boards. These have not been updated since 2006. The school has such a strong tradition in so many domains and we are keen to mark the achievements of all our pupils. We are currently working on a history wall to show the evolution of Cardiff High School from its earliest days to the large comprehensive it is today. Any ideas you may have, please let us know.
Finally, thank you to parents who expressed an interest in becoming a Parent Governor. The school really appreciates the commitment of governors and for all the time they give up to support the school. Congratulations to Julia Phillips Lewis who starts her term of office immediately.
