We arrive at the end of another long and busy term but one that has been extremelyproductive. Even in the last few days the buzz around the school both during the day and after normal school hours has been phenomenal. It was heartening to see so many parents of pupils in Year 10 and Year 11 come into school earlier this week so that we could share our plan for revision during the exam season. If parents have any questions regarding this then please contact us.
It has also been a term touched with sadness with the death of our friend and
colleague John Marusza. It has been lovely to hear so many positive comments and words of respect from current and former pupils and parents and I know that John’s family are very proud of what he achieved here at Cardiff High School.
Of course during the Easter holiday things will continue. As always we will be
looking to improve the school environment and there will be members of staff on site during the holidays working with our young people. It is a crucial time as when we return there are only 23 school days left to the revision period and I hope that parents will ensure that pupils in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 are making the most of the Easter break for some independent study.
Have a great Easter!
