Tua'r Goleuni – Towards the Light

Bullying is taken extremely serioulsy at Cardiff High School.  Bullying is when people deliberately hurt,  harass, intimidate or exclude somebody.  There are many definitions of bullying, but most consider it to be deliberately hurtful, repeated, often over a period of time and difficult for victims to defend themselves against.

Bullying can take many forms, but the three main types are:

  • Physical eg kicking, hitting, taking belongings
  • Verbal eg name calling, insulting, making offensive remarks
  • Indirect eg spreading rumours, exclusion from social groups, using e-mail, text or social networking media to target an individual.

If you feel you are being bullied or have witnessed bullying of any type, please report this to a member of staff.  The school will deal with it and resolve the situation as soon as possible.
