Sixth Form Open Evening

Our open evening is on Thursday 22 October 2026 starting at 4pm. The evening will start with an introductory talk and then students will have the opportunity to visit 5 subject talks. There is no prior booking required.

Our applications for entry into Year 12 Sept 2027 are open. Please complete and submit the form. There is no deadline for applications, however we are a popular sixth form and spaces are limited.

Please view the subject videos on the link below for more information on the A-levels that we offer in our Sixth Form.

Subject Videos (please see menu to the right for videos for Chemistry, Geography, Computer Science & Digital Technology. Apologies that we currently do not have videos for Business, Economics, Theatre Studies, English Literature & History. These will be added as soon as possible)

Cardiff High welcomes students from all schools. Being in the catchment is not a requirement for Sixth Form admission. Offers are subject to students achieving the minimum admission qualification of 6 or more GCSEs at grade C or above. (some subjects have specific entry requirements, these will be explained on the open evening).
